Reese Witherspoon is set to be a bride for the second time — she’s reportedly engaged to her hunky boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.
The Legally Blonde star — who raises two children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe — has fueled rumors she and Jake are to wed after she was spotted flaunting a gold band on her wedding finger.
“Reese looked delighted, and she was definitely showing off the ring,” a source said. “She kept holding her finger up for people to see, she even flashed it around when she was getting in her car.
A photograph taken by X17Online reveals the band is made up of three interlocking strips of gold, two of which have solid gold baubles on them. A small golden star is stuck to the top strip, and sits against Reese’s finger.
Neither Reese nor Jake’s representatives have commented on the claims.
Earlier this year, it was claimed Reese had picked out her wedding dress.
“Reese has picked out the gown she’s going to wear when she and Jake finally get married,” a source said in June. “It’s an unconventional color just like Gwen Stefani’s, and her daughter, Ava, will wear an identical dress.”
“Jake not only wants to be her husband, he wants to take responsibility for her children. They’re in a good place.”
