Drew Barrymore would never change for a man
The "Whip It" star - who is rumored to be engaged to actor Justin Long - says she could never pretend to be someone she's not and needs a man to accept her for who she really is.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "On the first date, don't not be yourself. Don't sell them what you're not really about - it's exhausting."
"I'm never not myself and I don't give a s**t if it's to my detriment or not. This is who I am. What you see is what you get. I learned that lesson when I was 13 - my entire life was out there and I didn't have a choice. I thought, let me just ride with this wave."
As well as not changing for a man, Drew recently claimed isn't bothered about getting older.
The 34-year-old actress - who shot to fame aged six in "E.T" - said: "It's the best time of my life - it's not traumatic at all. I don't think I've ever been happier. It's like the older I get, the better I get. Gravity and wrinkles are fine with me. They're a small price to pay for the new wisdom inside my head and my heart."
"If my breasts fall down to the floor and everything starts to sag and becomes hideous and gross, I won't worry. I'll just stop appearing in front of the camera. That's fine with me because I love producing and directing."
