Angelina Jolie loves Brad Pitt because he's a ''real man'' |
|
The "Salt" actress - who raises six children with the Hollywood hunk - has praised her lover for having all of the "best" personality traits associated with being a father figure and movie star.
She said: "He's strong, intelligent, he's sensitive - and he's a real man, in all the best ways that can mean."
Despite continual speculation into their private life, the 35-year-old beauty admits they are stable enough in their relationship - which started back in 2005 shortly after they met on "Mr and Mrs Smith," when Brad was still married to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston - to laugh off gossip and untrue stories about themselves.
She explained: "We're great. And we can laugh about most of the things written about us because we're OK."
Brad and Angelina lead very hectic lives looking after their brood - adopted children Maddox, Pax and Zahara and biological kids Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne - whilst working on their acting careers.
To keep their relationship alive, the pair often "schedule" date nights, to allow them to take a break from being parents and focus on being a couple.
She explained to Live magazine: "We actually schedule them. We just had one the other night and we went next door so we didn't have to worry about the paparazzi and the kids didn't know where we were."
"We have a house that has two sections so we go to the part that's normally the studio and the office and just have dinner as a couple. If you can hold it together - which is hard these days and a lot of people separate - then you have to work at it, and you have to make that time when you are not Mom and Dad once in a while."
