NATALIE Maines has revealed how she was brought to tears when she saw a mother teaching her two-year-old son how to hate.
The Dixie Chick — who has just unveiled her new song, a cover of the Beach Boys’s classic God Only Knows — says she became emotional when he saw an overly vicious mother on TV.
“That just made me bawl because I’d just witnessed someone learn to hate and I didn’t know that kind of hatred existed,” she said.
Maines’ new song was recorded for the series finale of HBO’s Big Love, set to air March 20.
